Vienna meets Locarno

Recently, Peter Marschall and his wife Eva paid a visit to their Swiss EREN partners in Tessin. The owners, Ueli Schorf and Maurice Elst, explained specific facts on the local real estate market.

Since decades the unique combination of mediteranien flair, tax advantages and the vicinity to Italy attracts numerous wealthy clients to the shores of Lago Maggiore and lake Lugano.

Also on the program was a viewing tour to luxury properties in and near Ascona, Locarno and Lugano – the area WETAG has their sales offices, as well as the enjoyment of the hospitality, culture and culinary experience in the most southern canton of Switzerland.

During a dinner at Ueli Schorf´s villa near Locarno topics such as the advantages of an international real estate network for buyers and sellers for high quality residential properties, as well as possibilities to further optimize the co-operation and expansion of EREN were discussed.

„Die Presse“ invited selected guests (among them Peter and Eva Marschall) to celebrate the release of the „Luxury Estate“-magazine‘s new edition in the splendid halls of the „Stadtpalais Liechtenstein“. 

This event was the first to take place since the Palais was restored with more than 100 million euros. 

As a musical highlight, the soul- and blues-legend Alan Ferrington and his band performed live on stage. 

In the new „Luxury Estate“-magazine you‘ll find exclusive luxury real estate property on more than 164 pages. Marschall Real Estate presents some of it‘s most luxurious properties on several pages.

Real Estate market Mallorca

Despite the economic and financial crisis in Spain, the property market in Mallorca was never as affected as most of other regions. 

In fact, the significant price drop only took place in certain segments, mainly those which are driven by Spanish buyers and at properties at the low end of the market. 

Last year showed an increased demand especially from buyers in Germany, England and Sweden, which in turn led to a price increase. It also seems that investors have re-gained their trust which is noticed by the commencement of new luxury hotel & apartment projects. 

The capital Palma de Mallorca, in particular, shows active Swedish investment in the investment & construction sector. 

Because the obvious developments, one may conclude continious price increases, which suggests to look into the purchase of a dream holiday home rather sooner than later. 

The islands diversity has made Mallorca for many years one of Europe´s most interesting holiday regions.
